One Foundation

Once a renowned movie star, Mr. Jet Li achieved a smooth transition to become a philanthropist with global influence. Under his leadership, One Foundation has made great achievement. It has organized several aid efforts to disaster-hit areas in and out of China. For brilliant performance in May 12 Sichuan earthquake relief, China’s Ministry of Civil Affairs honored One Foundation with a “2008 Charity Award”. For his personal contributions to international charity and a creative philanthropic model, Mr. Jet Li won “You Bring Charm to the World Award(2008)”, World Economic Forum’s “Crystal Award” and was appointed as Red Cross Society of China’s Ambassador and World Health Organization’s Goodwill Ambassador.

The foundation believes in the ideal of “One Foundation, One Family”. That is: “1 person + 1 dollar/yuan + 1 month = 1 big family”. If each person donates at least one dollar/yuan each month, our individual donations can be transformed into a much greater fund.
